Crochet Jewelry

Knitting is a form of meditation for me.
The repetitive motions with the needle,
stitch
after
stitch
after
stitch
cleanse my mind
and put me in a meditative state of inner peace
where I and the rest of the world fade away
until
only the knitting remains ;).

Change

“One new perception,
one fresh thought,
one act of surrender,
one change of heart,
one leap of faith,
can change your life forever.”

Purple Necklaces

Two purple necklaces with a rainbow fluorite as a central piece.
The first one is quite simple - a double linen cord with a lock on the side.

The second is more colorful and happy with amethyst, jade, peridot and sterling silver beads.

Purple is the color of the 7th chakra - Sahasrara. It is the color of people seeking spiritual fulfillment. It is said if you surround yourself with purple you will have peace of mind*. I love to wear purple in my Yoga practice and especially during meditation.

Simplicity

In the outer life
Simplicity is beautiful.
In the inner life
Simplicity is invincible.

Simple Earrings

A tiny jasmine flower with a divine smell got me thinking how simple perfection can be.
A set of earrings in the simplest possible form was my inspiration for the day.

On freedom and love

Freedom and love go together. Love is not a reaction. If I love you because you love me, that is mere trade, a thing to be bought in the market; it is not love. To love is not to ask anything in return, not even to feel that you are giving something- and it is only such love that can know freedom.♥♥♥

How to turn a bracelet into a necklace :)

As I have mentioned before I am especially fond of versatile design.
A girl asked me to turn a bracelet she liked into a necklace. and i couldn't be happier :)
I could add more beads in the same pattern and have a necklace just like the bracelet
but felt the outcome would be too heavy and a bit outdated.
Instead I attached a piece of tiny chain that is twice the length of the bracelet.

As a result the necklace is more quiet and understated
and can still be worn as a bracelet in its original version.

Labradorite Bracelets

A walk in the park nearby

enjoy the sun and
take some pictures :).

Crystal Ball Earrings

Crystal Quartz is one of my favorite stones and i always carry one in my handbag.
But it is definitely more fun to wear one :).

On freedom, reality and change

The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first.”
