Knitting is a form of meditation for me. 

The repetitive motions with the needle, 

stitch 

after 

stitch 

after 

stitch 

cleanse my mind 

and put me in a meditative state of inner peace 

where I and the rest of the world fade away 

until 

only the knitting remains ;).

How to turn a bracelet into a necklace :)

As I have mentioned before I am especially fond of versatile design. 

A girl asked me to turn a bracelet she liked into a necklace. and i couldn't be happier :)

 I could add more beads in the same pattern and have a necklace just like the bracelet 

but felt the outcome would be too heavy and a bit outdated. 

Instead I attached a piece of tiny chain that is twice the length of the bracelet.

 As a result the necklace is more quiet and understated

and can still be worn as a bracelet in its original version.
